Robbie Dunlop is a 24-year-old techno DJ living in Inverness in the highlands. Originally from Ayrshire, just south of Glasgow, he formed his love for techno whilst studying music in Glasgow. He soon afterwards bought a set of decks and started teaching himself to mix.

He learned his craft playing to anyone who would listen at house parties before moving on to small local festivals. Fast forward a couple of years and Robbie found himself living in the highlands and trying to break through into the highland scene. After a while, the gigs started coming in. A pivotal moment for Robbie was when he was invited to play at the Ironworks as part of the Highland Techno Collective. This gig ultimately led to more and with the support of some local Techno heavyweights.

Robbie has been breaking through into the scene throughout 2018. Robbie has a fantastic knowledge of music and prides himself as someone who knows what to play, and when to play it. Expect a mixed bag of dub techno and deep tech/ deep progressive house in his warm-up sets.
