Connect White is part of the Connect brand and aims to showcase music from the broader spectrum, covering everything from Progressive House to Deep Tech and Minimal grooves. This is a night that is focussed on resident DJs and carefully selected guests as opposed to a crammed line up of one hour peak time sets.
For our first event, we’ll be hosting at The Vault, Aviemore.
On the night we’ll have the foundations laid by DJs Ed Fennell & Mark Thomson as they go back to back before they are followed by White resident Clyde Rouge.
Clyde has had a stacked out year on the production side, to say the least. With a long string of releases and regularly featuring in the Beatport charts, one of his most recent tracks ‘Native Animal’ featured in Beatport’s June best Minimal tracks. He’s also the man behind Chief Rouge Records and backed by a strong catalogue of tracks on labels such as Beat Boutique, Lithuanian Progressive label Suffused Music, Tres 14 and Deep tech Spanish outfit Bully Beatz. His work has been recognised by some of the biggest hitters in the game such as Richy Ahmed, Kolsch, Joris Voorn and Danny Tenaglia.
With sets at Groove Festival, The Ironworks and T in the Park and supporting names such as Leftfield, Boys Noize, Gary Beck and Slam he’s also no stranger to the DJ booth.
He’ll be supported on the night by DJs Ed Fennell and Mark Thomson. Ed & Mark have a bulk of experience with recent warm-ups for the likes of Dave Seaman and Jaap Lighthart to name just a couple. They’re also the hosts of Aberdeen based night Northern Progression and regulars on online radio station Saturo Sounds. There are links to all DJs at the foot of the event description.
